The fruit recipe that we are going to share with you today is more of a smoothie than juice. A perfect delight for hot summer afternoons as well as cold mornings. You can include it with your breakfast or simply have it as a refresher during any time of the day. Chikoo milkshake is one of the cheapest yet healthiest milkshakes which is easy to make and a complete treat to the taste buds. Chikoo vendors can be found all year round everywhere from trains to bus stops, streets and of course in the market.

Ingredients

  • 4 Medium Sized Chikoos
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar (optional)
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence (optional)
  • ½ Cup Crushed Ice

How To Prepare?

  • Peel the skin and remove the seeds from the chikoos.
  • Roughly chop in small pieces.
  • Put them in a mixer and add milk.
  • If you feel the chikoos are not too sweet, add sugar.
  • Add vanilla essence. You may replace it with vanilla ice cream too.
  • Mix crushed ice and blend well.
  • Transfer the milkshake into serving glasses and sip it up!
